Mix Match Magic

On rainy days it doesn't mean you can't look cute and be warm. Not a huge fan of cold rain, but Summer rain I'm definitely not complaining. Thank goodness for sweater tights, though. Save me the trouble of shaving my legs and keep me warm in cold chapels in church. So let's talk about mix matching and how it is socially acceptable. I rarely feel that I match. And sometimes thats ok. The maroon with coral is my mix match of color, also the chambray and houndstooth is mixing styles. The two colors really make the outfit pop with some color.

Boots and Beanies

Beanies goes with so much. I mean, I guess they can keep you warm too but, they can just put that little touch that your outfit needs. Also, I wear them when I'm lazy and I don't want to do my hair or, to get ready. They can help a sister out.

I love my maroon beanie. When I bought it I was nervous it would clash or look weird with my hair but I actually love it and it matches so much.

The black beanie is super slouchy makes for a cute look. Looking like I'm coming right out of Paris.

My chuckka boots are my latest purchase. Got them for a seal of a deal.

When your brother comes home for the weekend and dresses fashionably you got to post him up on the blog as well. He is rocking is Steve Madden boots.
Sure love my bro. It's even more fun shooting him. I don't know why he doesn't just drop out of school and become a model. We'll keep trying with him.

Keepin' it Chill

I was begging to go to the Ice Castles in Midway FOREVER! My good friend Adam finally took me to explore. He's the best. He leaves on an LDS mission in 2 weeks so it only made sense to do one last adventure before he left. Can I just tell you how cool it was? I was in awe at how thick the ice was. It seemed scary, that an icicle could fall or the tunnels would cave in but, that ice honestly wasn't going anywhere. There was even a slide!! And yes big enough for adults. I am so glad he took me and I could finally go check it out! Loved it!

Man in Boots

You could say fashion runs in the family. This handsome man is my older brother. We enjoy shopping together and enjoy getting deals even more. This season our shopping consisted of finding him some boots. Which we surprisingly found him a few different pairs. (He can be picky.) I am all for man boots. They look great. His boots are Aldo, but we got them at DSW for much cheaper. If you look closely enough, you can see he matched his belt with his shoes. So proud! His shirt is from Pac Sun and the grey sweater from H&M.

Into India

I didn't get hit by a train so overall it was a good day. My tops were a GoodWill buy. Didn't know they went together until I got into the fitting room. Tried them on together and this beauty blossomed. The shirt is Joan Vass Studio and the cover up is Lots of Love by Speechless. I got the necklace at the GoodWill. Yes, I even get fab jewelry from the thrift store. My jeggings are from Gordmans. The boots, I wear probably to much, are from DSW. The Brand is Matisse. The hand bag which goes with so much is from DSW and is Urban Expression.

Cheeky Cheetah

I am one of those girls who loves her cheetah. This was a good find at the GoodWill. The Blazer is so comfortable too. I have other blazers and I feel like I have limited movement but I can move and work in this one. It's Mossimo. The simple grey shirt looks classy now with the blazer. I got the shirt at the GoodWill as well and the brand is Sonoma. The skirt was on sale at DownEast, and what girl can have too many black pencil skirts. Because that's just not possible. The shoes are G by Guess that I got at DSW. The gold spiked necklace was from Burlington Coat Factory.

Casual Camo

Today was a day I just wasn't going to do my hair. On days like that, I like to be comfortable. I la la love my camo jacket. I don't usually go into Burlington Coat Factory, but I did that day because it's next to the Goodwill and found this gem. The brand is Ali & Kris. The chambray shirt I originally got at the GoodWill to cut up and make cute head bands out of, but turns out I wear it all the time. I paired the shirt and jacket with just some black leggings I got at Old Navy. My boots are Nine West from DSW, which ties the gold in from the necklace. The necklace was a gift from my brother who got it from H&M.
